PackSys Global presents its new Zelos cutting and brushing machine. The Zelos is unique in the aerosol can industry as it is a 'hybrid', with BOTH mechanical and optional laser cutting available. Depending on the requirements, the customer can choose between two types of cutting. A change from one system to the other is done within minutes.
The compact Zelos machine is equipped with vacuum mandrels, a length adjustment on the fly by HMI with a second brushing station and bottom forming both optionally available.
The machine has the unique optional possibility to compensate bottom thickness and can temperature fluctuations which are seen during start and stop of the extrusion process. Any possible can unloading errors are taken care by the machine itself which means no machine stops because of this.
Developed by PackSys Global, the Zelos cutting and brushing machine comes in several speed executions and can be offered at speeds between 165 and 300 cans per minute.
The concept of cutting is easy to understand and can be quickly taught to machine operators, therefore setting time or eventual troubleshooting time is low. Knife exchange by a unique revolver system ensures no stops during production.
