Pak 2000, an American firm specializing in luxury bags as well as security bag concepts, helped make sure that kids in their local community would be able to keep up with school work this school year when faced with inclement weather. Cooperating with the Governor Wentworth Regional School District, Pak 2000 custom designed and donated “Blizzard Bags” to hold students lesson plans to keep at home in case of school being cancelled.

In the past Pak 2000 graciously donated stock bags as requested by the school with a short timeline. This year more time was allocated, allowing the program to plan and design a custom bag at the company’s facilities in Mirror Lake for “Blizzard Bag Day”. Pak 2000’s, Director of Operations Robin Parsons worked closely with the school to ensure timing and other requirements. Kim Stephan created the artwork and worked with the development team (consisting of Phil Heath, Robin Parsons and Emily Clancy) to determine the most suitable bag design and size.

The plant that produced the bags is one of Pak 2000’s wholly owned facilities. Located in Lancaster, New Hampshire, the plants main function is to manufactures poly-bags for Pak 2000’s security division. The school system was very pleased with the quality of work and generosity of the donation.

The program is just one of the ways that Pak 2000 remains active in the community. Another recent example is that of its donation of bags to local Huggins Hospital. The hospital received roughly 125 blue bags for their 26th Annual Gold Tournament, that were used as “goodie bags” for the participants. Held last year at Bald Peak Colony Club in Melvin Village, over $600,000 dollars were raised to assist the community with its health care needs.

One of the company’s latest initiatives, Pak 2000 also cooperates with firm KBW Financial to gather food for those less fortunate and was a part of raising over 2,900 pounds of food for the New Hampshire Food Bank.

If you would like to participate in any of these initiatives, simply contact Pak 2000 for details on how you can contribute.
