The years following our 100th anniversary have been hallmarked by innovation. In the past 20 years, Phoenix has been awarded over 35 patents related to closure design and application. These achievements have resulted in substantial recognition and product successes for our customers through revolutionary closure designs.
Our commitment to our customers’ success has not been limited to closure design. The Technical Services group insures that our customers are able to achieve the most efficient operations of their capping lines. Our new 250,00 square foot facility in Greencastle, Indiana focuses on creating high efficiencies for our stock closures and allows us to re-organize our manufacturing allocation. We continue to strive to provide our customers with innovative and cost-effective products to guarantee market penetration.

Phoenix’s corporate headquarters and main manufacturing facility is located in Naperville, Illinois (approximately 30 miles west of Chicago). Our home since 1965, this site has been expanded four times to meet our customers’ growing needs.Our second plant is located in Davenport, Iowa–one of the Quad Cities of Eastern Iowa and Western Illinois. This facility was opened in May of 2000 and focuses primarily on the production of proprietary and custom closures.Our third plant is located in Newport, Tennessee and enjoyed its grand opening ceremonies on October 13, 2005. It is strategically located just off I-40, a major East West thoroughfare and is well-poised to service the Eastern and Southeastern United States.In July 2009, we opened our West Coast Distribution Center in Ontario, California, to better service our customers in the western half of the country.Our fourth plant opened its doors in July 2012 in Greencastle, Indiana. Our newest facility allows us to gain efficiencies for our stock closures.
