History

RAMAPLAST was established in 1973: just one press and no employees at the time. The production was exclusively focused on the technical sector.
In 1976 the moulds shop department (nowadays Elettrostampi) was created, and this was the first step towards a wider and more complete offer to customers.
1978: The blowing department was created along with the first blowing machine and the first bottles production.
In 1980 Elettrostampi was founded, as Ramaplast spin-off; it is a company specializing in mould design, construction and maintenance and related equipment used for plastic materials manufacturing. In the meantime, Ramaplast started to develop its offer producing the first lines of jars featuring internal design drawing.
In 1985, following to an acquisition, Ramaplast started the decoration activity using screen process and hot stamping techniques.
In 1989 the company developed the production site of Castelnuovo Scrivia, incorporating all production activities in one single plant: logistics optimization and cost structure development.
The year 2000 was a turning point in the history of the company: third party production was replaced by the specialization in jars and bottles for the cosmetic sector. The year was also marked by the introduction of the ISO 9001Quality Management System.
2006: further plants widening from the automation and efficiency perspective of finished products storage and handling.
In 2008 Ramaplast welcomed the first international meeting hosting all foreign retailers. The above international meeting lasted for three days characterized by meetings, future projects and new products.
2011: Warehouse and production goes to the fully automated system.
