Rigolleau
Rigolleau supplies packaging to major food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and perfume companies in Argentina and abroad.
Approximately 4,000 years ago, the Egyptians were already making glass as an artistic expression. Made from the fusion at 1,500 degrees Celsius of three basic raw materials: sand (silica), calcium oxide and sodium carbonate, glass has transformed people's quality of life and is today an irreplaceable commodity due to its recognized characteristics of transparency, hygiene, neutrality and recyclability.
Our history began in 1882, when Leon Fourvel founded the Leon Rigolleau Company in Argentina with the aim of manufacturing ink containers. Twenty years later, due to his ambitious vision, he moved to Berazategui and installed the first automatic equipment for the manufacture of glass bottles, thus creating what is today 'Cristalerías Rigolleau S.A.'.
Rigolleau currently has a line of household products, including cups, glasses, tableware, pitchers and other tableware, distributed throughout Argentina and neighboring countries. Rigolleau also supplies packaging to the main food, beverage, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and perfumery companies in Argentina and abroad.
Rigolleau is now one of the largest glassware manufacturers in the country and Latin America, offering integrated solutions to support its customers and consumers.
Employing more than 1,000 people directly, Rigolleau continues to be an Argentine company that projects itself to the world. Rigolleau continues to invest year after year in order to keep betting on continuous improvement in each of its processes and developments, in order to remain 'the symbol of glass'.
