Sold out! Consumers loved Cult Beauty’s Christmas campaign range made with sustainable packaging

  • Robinson Packaging

Robinson – the manufacturer specialising in value-added custom packaging – supported Cult Beauty in producing six uniquely themed sustainable shoulder paper boxes for their Christmas campaign. A promotional limit of boxes were produced, which were snapped up by consumers across the UK and sold out before Christmas day.

Cult Beauty is the online destination for choice of consumers of beauty products. Through its Cult Conscious initiative, it champions those brands that have committed to recyclable packaging. It stands to reason, therefore, that Cult Beauty chose to work with a packaging expert that can help deliver its sustainability requirements. All six boxes are made from 100% post-consumer recycled paperboard and can be widely recycled once used, meeting Cult Beauty’s and Robinson’s sustainability goals for circular packaging solutions.

Each box design includes silver foil blocking to give it a luxury festive feel alongside striking abstract designs.

Hannah Whitehead, Consumables Buyer at Cult Beauty, said:

“When we’re introducing products to our customers and influencers in a custom branded box the first impression starts, of course, with the packaging – it’s the first thing they see.”

“In Robinson, we found a reliable UK packaging company who met our design and sustainable packaging needs.”

Being UK-based, it allowed for quick turnaround times, reduced transport costs and a lower carbon footprint.

Jon Walker, NPD Director, said:

“It was a pleasure to work with the prestigious Cult Beauty. We are delighted to rise to the challenge in meeting their unique and striking designs and find it very rewarding to see their visions come to life. The packaging certainly gives their consumers that WOW factor.”
