RPC bpi protec has announced the recruitment of Darryl Roadnight as General Manager, protec North. Darryl will have responsibility for the Bromborough, Winsford, and Flint RPC bpi protec manufacturing sites. This follows the recruitment in 2017 of Eric Roche as General Manager, protec South, and completes the management structure to focus the business on delivering efficient growth across all the RPC bpi protec business sites.

Darryl joins RPC from the International Automotive Components Group, where his last role as Plant Manager followed previous roles within the group as Site Manager in China and Romania.

“This is an exciting time to join RPC bpi protec with its innovative and 100% recyclable ranges of flexible packaging solutions,” explains Darryl. “Much of my work over the past 20 years has been within the manufacturing sector and in my new role I will be able to use this experience to ensure that we deliver the operational efficiencies and sustainable products that our customers require.”

Eric Roche joined RPC as General Manager, protec South in 2017 and has 6 years’ experience within the RPC group across a variety of operational and general management roles. With responsibility for the Hereford, Worcester, and Romanian facilities, Eric is overseeing improvements in the extrusion and print capability within the RPC bpi protec business.

“We have already made significant investment in our capability with the recent investment in label printing at Worcester,” explains Eric. “This has added to our product offering and is indicative of the approach we are taking to deliver value to our customers’ packaging requirements.”

Both roles report to David Lumley, Manging Director of RPC bpi protec.
