Saputo Inc. is a Montreal-based Canadian dairy company founded in 1954 by the Saputo family. Today, Saputo produces, markets, and distributes a wide array of dairy products, including cheese, fluid milk, extended shelf-life milk and cream products, cultured products and dairy ingredients.

Saputo produces, markets, and distributes a wide array of dairy products of the utmost quality, including cheese, fluid milk, extended shelf-life milk and cream products, cultured products and dairy ingredients. Saputo is one of the top ten dairy processors in the world, the largest cheese manufacturer and the leading fluid milk and cream processor in Canada, one of the top three dairy processors in Argentina, and among the top four in Australia. In the US, Saputo ranks among the top three cheese producers and is one of the largest producers of extended shelf-life and cultured dairy products.

Since our founding in 1954, Saputo’s craftsmen have demonstrated their commitment to excellence and innovation. Every year, we process over 8 billion litres of milk into a variety of cheeses, as well as a complete range of dairy products and ingredients sold in over 40 countries.
We sell our own branded products, as well as products labelled under our retail and foodservice customers’ brand names. We provide our products to industrial clients in the form of ingredients to be used in the preparation of food items, as well as nutritional products.
With 50 manufacturing facilities and approximately 12,800 employees across our five divisions, we operate our business through three sectors: Canada, USA and International.
