SCHÜTZ opens a new IBC plant in Thailand

Asia, Southeast Asia, Thailand, Tertiary Packaging, IBC - Intermediate Bulk Containers, Supply Chain Services, Transport, Laboratory, Testing, Certification

In the past few months, an ultramodern production plant has been built on site in the Pluak Daeng District of Rayong province. The new plant was designed and built to fully comply with the wide-ranging requirements of the FSSC 22000 industry standard. The certification audit, which is the basis of our FOODCERT packaging, is due to take place in the coming months.

As well as administration and sales, the new site also includes several large warehouses. All our packaging is stored in closed rooms, thus guaranteeing compliance with the demanding technical cleanliness and process safety requirements of the FSSC standard.

SCHÜTZ Thailand is ideally equipped to dependably supply the country with our products. The new factory also has an ideal logistical location in the Hemaraj Eastern Seaboard Industrial Estate (Hermaraj ESIE), which is about 110 kilometres southeast of Bangkok. This estate is the most important industrial hub in the country and numerous
local and international companies are located here. Much of Thailand’s petrochemical industry is located close-by.

The largest deep-water container  port in Thailand, Laem Chabang,  is only 30 kilometres away. This industrial hub also offers many other advantages:
Hermaraj ESIE has an excellent infrastructure for transport, a stable power supply, rapid communication networks, waste water treatment plants in compliance with the latest environ mental standards and connections to the main highways 3138 and 331.
Embedded in this ideal infrastructure, the new factory also shortens delivery distances to our customers in Thailand, who were previously supplied from Malaysia. This increases supply chain security and boosts our customers’ eco balance.
