Solway Spirits
Solway Spirits are artisan spirits and liqueurs from Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland.
Solway Spirits is a small batch craft distillery located on the majestic Solway Coast in South West Scotland, using British suppliers for the highest quality ingredients.
We use a blend of botanicals, juniper, coriander, orris root, angelica, orange peel, liquorice root and a few others which we forage locally.
We use a rectification column, making the spirit wonderfully smooth before cooling it through the condenser to make a silky smooth elixir.
Our passion and commitment for our work is second to none. A true micro distillery producing only fifty bottles in one batch which are bottled and labeled by hand so you, the drinker, only receive the best quality spirit.
Sister company, Andrews Ales, is a microbrewery based on the North side of the Solway Estuary in Dumfries and Galloway. An emphasis on attention to detail is our byword, we produce hand-crafted artisan beers where quality is more important than quantity.
We produce our beers in small batches of 2.5BBL (420L), we then ferment and condition the beer until it's ready to go out for consumption. We use traditional techniques combined with new and classic hops to give our beers a degree of distinction.
Our cider is produced from apples all gathered from within 15 miles of our home. We carefully pick the apples and store them at home until they are ready to be pressed.
