Local business owner Raymond Oliver Chief Executive of SONE Products Ltd has donated 2000 plastic bottles to Durham County Council to help protect front line workers.

Mr Oliver contacted Business Durham to ask how SONE Products could help support a safe working environment during the COVID19 crisis.

Business Durham are part of the County Council’s COVID19 task force and connected SONE Products with the distribution team delivering hand sanitiser in high volumes to the Council’s front line services.

Raymond Oliver CEO of SONE Products said “I’m concerned about corona virus in the local community and we wanted to do our bit. SONE Products are a leading manufacturer of high quality plastic packaging and we had a limited number of bottles available for hand sanitiser. I contacted Business Durham and within hours the Council collected 2000 bottles to make available to front line staff.''

Caroline Taukulis Business Engagement Team Manager said “Business Durham was pleased to connect SONE Products with our colleagues faced with the challenge of breaking down bulk quantities of hand sanitiser into smaller units available for the front line. It’s what we do at Business Durham connecting solutions to challenges.''
