STO Flaconnage has produced custom designed bottles for Native, a fragrance range from New Zealand, for men. The 100ml rectangular, heavy-based bottles incorporate a very slight convex curve to the shoulder line.

‘These bottles are a perfect example of how a distinctively classic shape can be branded by imaginative decoration’, said Mark Devonald Smith, STO Sales Director for Perfumery and Personal Care. ‘There are three fragrances in the Native range; all are organic sprayed in an earthy brown and have the brand name screen printed in an intensely natural tone of yellow. Two bottles are printed with all-over designs: a traditional Maori pattern for One Desire, one from Polynesia for One Dream and the third, One Destiny, has the simplicity of the brand name on its own. All the fragrances contain specific extracts evoking aspects of the New Zealand experience. Taken together the packaging exemplifies contemporary New Zealand’s culturally diverse spirit.’

The final touches to the bottle design are a metal collar to the neck and a dark brown oblong cap finished in a bark pattern.
