Boots have chosen STO to supply the custom moulded bottles for their highly successful No 7 Speed Dry nail varnish.

The Stölzle factory in Köflach, Austria, specialises in the production of small and nail polish bottles. These are produced in large cavity machines in volumes that result in highly competitive pricing. A number of standard bottles are held in stock for immediate availability.

The nail polish bottles come in a variety of weights. Recently STO started producing them in heavy weights for a quality result, illustrated through the glass distribution and the thickness of the base.

Köflach operates 8 and 10 section machines with double and triple gobs in lines dedicated to nail polish and other small bottles such as dropper containers (for air care refresher oils) and the Rollette bottle, all popular STO standards. At the cold end of the Köflach factory, where automatic visual inspection, electronically controlled, is carried out, a glass wall floods the area with brilliant, natural light.

‘Investment in the latest technology produces excellent quality glass. Its superb clarity allows the colour of the contents to shine through,’ said Mark Devonald Smith, Group Sales Director for Perfumery and Personal Care. ‘This, combined with the electronic quality control and the amazingly favourable factory conditions, results in pre-eminent bottles.’

STO produces custom moulded nail varnish bottles for a range of leading companies such as Oriflame for their Vision range, Geka  Brush, and Scheller. In addition, STO can supply a range of standard nail varnish bottles from stock.

The international Stölzle Glass Group has its headquarters in Köflach, Austria and its five production sites include STO-Flaconnage of Knottingley, West Yorkshire. The group provides a wide range of both custom moulded and standard bottles.
