Representatives from 23 packaging associations, members of WPO (World Packaging Organisation), judged 291 packaging projects from 35 countries that entered the WorldStar Awards 2017. To be eligible to enter WPO WorldStar Awards the packaging must have been a winner in a national or an International competition that is recognised by WPO.

Once again the Stölzle Glass Group resulted as a winner of the WorldStar awards, this time with the outstanding Gin bottle “Isle of Harris”.

This bespoke bottle was created by Stölzle Flaconnage, the British production site of the Stölzle Glass Group. It is a customized new product with a bespoke fine rippled design over the whole bottle which reflects the nature of its beautiful and rugged scenery. A base surface turquoise spray is added to reflect the characteristics of the sea. A slight indentation shall ease the serving of this fabulous Gin.

In 2016 the Stölzle Glass Group resulted as already a winner with the same bottle at the Luxury Packaging Awards, UK Packaging Awards, and the German Packaging Awards. At the Starpack Awards the outstanding Gin bottle was distinguished with Bronze in the drinks category. What a huge success for this stunning bottle!
