    THE HISTORY

    Tapì was established in 1998, just a few miles from the city of Venice, Italy, to serve as the ideal partner for the spirits & wine industries and to answer market demands for high-quality technical and synthetic closures.

    A passion for closures, unmatched quality and Italian design, have allowed Tapì to rank as number one on the world stage in the production of bar-top synthetic Showstoppers.

    During the past 15 years Tapì has grown to become a Group, which includes a Network of joint ventures, production facilities, commercial offices, research and development facilities, local chapters and assembly facilities in 19 countries, covering over 60 nations.

    The Tapì Group developed the capabilities to meet any challenge, design or customization by creating a range of products impossible to match by any of our competitors: the full range of closures is the most extensive on the market today. No other manufacturing company offers such a complete set of closures to a global market.

We are proud of our Italian and Venetian Heritage; we learn from it but we are not bound by it. We use only the best from our past to meet the challenges of the future. The continuum between the past, present, and future sustains us as a technologically advanced company.

    The Tapì mission is to be able to serve customers worldwide as a group, confident of the support of the whole network and of the dedication and loyalty we all have towards each other and the group.
