With over 4000 pallet capacity, UNI Packaging’s centralised logistics organisation is perfectly placed to store and transport orders globally.

The production of specialist pouches include 2 and 3-sided sealed vacuum pouches, trapezoidal and tubular pouches, as well as stand-up pouches.

Additional options include zip (including PlixPack), tear nick, euro hole, rounded corners, handle and macro perforation for steam cooking.

Customised shapes can also be produced for special projects and to enhance on-shelf presence.

Machinery

UNI Packaging’s innovative laser scoring system delivers added value and enhanced functionality through consistent and familiar easy opening of packs for the consumer.

With cross and web direction, contour and freeform scoring in continuous, dashed and perforated styles, laser score provides full packing line compatibility, with no need for capital outlay for the packer.

With our own specialist co-extrusion plant, UNI Packaging can produce up to 7 layer co-extruded film structures to meet the technical requirements of our customers’ products.

The group specialises in the production of high gas barrier structures and technical films.

UNI Packaging has the very latest digital print technology from Hewlett Packard.

Being one of only a few European companies with this class-leading technology, the group’s digital capability offers fantastic quality, variable data printing for special promotions or pack traceability.

It can also provide fast lead times for rapid response orders, as well as incredibly short runs if required.

UNI Packaging’s flexographic presses (all gearless to allow for infinite repeat lengths) can print up to 1350 mm wide. Employing the latest equipment, we work with both traditional printing plates and the latest HD technology.

Printing in up to 8 colours and on our latest line the ability to print an infinite number of colours in register, providing the possibilities for rapid reaction to promotional print requirements.

The group has recently invested in an innovative in-line printing process to provide double-sided coating and lacquering of the printed films in a single pass.
