Valmatic has recently produced new unit dose items with a “drop to drop” system for the nutrition of flowers, plants, and other garden items. Designing for Compo Germany, Valmatic has developed a new tulip shaped 30ml dispensing solution to be inserted directly into the soil for 4 weeks of nutrition. Valmatic also developed the secondary packaging for GDO distribution and in garden centres.

With the new Valmatic form-fill-seal machine, it is now possible to produce a new shape easily as the customer requires. Unit-doses and vials can be selected in a number of capacities, from 0.50ml all the way through to 300ml.
 
The advantages of thermoformed unit-dose revolve around the possibility to employ barrier films to grant a long life to the product, ensuring the dosage is controlled. It is also possible to customize the shape of the dose, the colour, and the final packaging.
 
The plastic vials can also contain creamy or powder products and never break during transport.
