Valmatic designs and manufactures thermoforming-filling lines for producing single-dose containers and suppositories. Designed and manufactured in Italy, Valmatic machines are extremely versatile meeting the needs of the customer with a very quick changeover time and a high output per hour.

Valmatic's thermoforming and filling machine, the VAL175, has been manufactured for the production of single-dose containers form-filled in laminated plastic sheets. The machine has been strategically designed for easy access even for the lesser trained or experienced operator and benefits from an exceptionally fast format changeover from 5 to 300ml.

The VAL 175 is an all-around machine conceived for medium and large production runs. It is capable of manufacturing small vials in low density plastic films but also capacious containers in thick films, both with or without flat bottoms (stand-up). Its scope can vary from the coupling of a single folded film, which allows the centering of the printing on both sides to the coupling of 2 plastic films or of one plastic film and one aluminium film (peelable). Customers have the option to choose the machine configuration solution most suited to their needs and also indicate whether they require one or two reels.

Employing mechanics combined with a cutting-edge electronic control both for the operator interface and the internal motion management, the VAL175 is also equipped with a 10" Siemens touch screen display operator panel which is also fitted for remote control. A pneumatic-mechanical handling system controlled by Profinet modules is responsible for the machine's motion, with cycles that can be adapted to the specific requirements of a product as well as very short changeover times.

The VAL175 further benefits by significantly reducing wastage in relation to the finished container which as a consequence provides a meaningful reduction in costs.

Valmatic's Minivaldose is the smallest FFS machine on the market and can thermoform and fill unit-doses with capacities from 0.20 up to 125ml. It's a fully automatic machine that can fill vitamins, syrups, nutraceutical products, osmotic membranes for perfumes, personal care and health products for one time use.

The Minivaldose can fill liquid, semi-liquid, cream, gel and powder products, centering the print on both the sides of the container. It is capable of realizing a stand-up container with a flat bottom and it can use 2 different films at the same time, coupled or barriered.

The Minivaldose may also be filled with two different products to be mixed, at the press of a button, and there is the option of having 2 labelling stations.

Founded 35 years ago as manufacturer of thermoforming machines for the production of suppositories and vaginal ovules, Valmatic has since developed its contract-packing service, as an outsourced manufacturing service that consists in the single-dose filling of liquids such as dietary supplements, beauty products and medical devices as well as balms, creams and gels manipulated under controlled atmospheric conditions.
