    SGD decorates the world!

    • VERESCENCE

Cultures, climates, traditions, uses create - all create different consumer expectations that brands respond to with a specific offer.

Traveling, for business, shopping, and discovery is part of modern life. That’s why travel retail is a distribution network which cannot be ignored, as it shows an important growth rate and a good profitability.

From China to Europe, Brazil to the USA, SGD supports beauty brands in their regional and worldwide developments, thanks to their industrial footprints set up for key markets.

Recent investments, combined with skill transfers, allow SGD to provide service, quality and innovation in each of its bare glass and decoration plants.

It’s the “think global, act local” theme that SGD developed for the Luxe Pack Monaco trade fare.

Associated with three famous international partners, Givaudan, Rexam and Iléos, SGD invites consumers to take a trip around the packaging world with them - illustrated by these four travel-size perfumes.

Each fragrance composed by Givaudan is subtly reflected by the look and feel of the bottle, dispensing a delicate and vanishing spray thanks to the Rexam XD11 pump.

    China, a cloud of celadon

This bottle achieves its precious celadon ceramic effect through a combination of lacquers.

With a delicate green color reminiscent of a floral bouquet (lily of the valley, jasmine, and water lily), the ceramic matches perfectly with the composition of fragrance developed by Givaudan .

The monogram, which has been drawn in multi-pass screen printing, gives the bottle a subtle sensory reflection of the perfume.

Note: The crackled effect, very popular on nails, allows for multiple finishings:  frost, leather, ceramic, etc.

    France, overflowing with creativity

This monogram was drawn by a partial acid etching obtained by screen printing of peelable ink.

A transparency effect has been applied to create a look of mystery to represent the fragrance of plant and sparkling notes (lime, cut grass, and jacinth).

This technique, which both wraps the bottle in a special softness, and allows for detailed decoration, reflects the minimalism of the fragrance created by Givaudan.

Note: The Les Verreries de l’Orne plant emits zero discharge to the natural environment thanks to its integrated water treatment station.

    Brazil, a whirlwind of colors

The combination of lacquering and screen printings in this case creates an explosion of colors - an illustration of the colorful and energetic notes from the fruity theme elaborated by Givaudan (bergamot, mango, peach, açaí, and more).

Glittering and metallizing inks with intense colors illuminate the monogram.

Note: New printing equipments allow several passes with automatic screen printing before arch heating.

    USA, flowing with satin

A satin ribbon holding a bouquet of milky white flowers (jasmine, tuberous, and sandalwood) was drawn using contouring pad printing.

Like a precious jewel, the plate effect of the monogram was obtained using a multi-pass screen printing process.

Note: The pad printing technique gets round print limits, as seen with chamfers.
