Visqueen TreadGUARD 1500 is a HDPE semi-ridged protection board with an embossed upper surface. The board is 1m x 2m, nominally 1.5mm thick and has Visqueen TreadGUARD1500 printed on the upper (embossed) surface for ease of identification.

| Usage Visqueen TreadGUARD 1500 is used to protect construction membranes such as DPMs, gas membranes or substructure tanking membranes from damage from backfill, positioning of reinforced concrete, following trades, etc.
The board can be used in both horizontal and vertical applications. In vertical applications, the board must be adequately held in position until fully supported e.g. with backfill. | |
| Storage and Handling Visqueen TreadGUARD 1500 should be stored horizontally, under cover in its original packaging. The boards should not be exposed to long periods of ultraviolet light.
Care should be taken when handling the product in line with current manual handling regulations. | |
| Preparation Ensure the substrate is free from contamination, aggregate or sharp protrusions prior to positioning the board. | |
| Installation Apply Visqueen TreadGUARD 1500 boards above the laid construction membrane and butt joint together. Joints can be taped with VisqueenPro Single Sided Jointing Tape applied equidistant over the junction. Apply pressure to the tape to ensure adhesion. | |
| Usable temperature range Although there are no limitations to the usable temperature range for Visqueen TreadGUARD 300, it is recommended that the Visqueen products associated with this system component should not be installed below 5°C. | |
