| Usage Visqueen TreadGUARD 300 is used to protect construction membranes.
It is suitable In horizontal applications for the protection of damp proof membranes and gas membranes from rebars and following trades.
For substructure membrane protection use Visqueen TreadGUARD 1500. | |
| Storage and Handling Visqueen TreadGUARD 300 should be stored under cover in its original packaging.
Care should be taken when handling the product in line with current manual handling regulations. | |
| Preparation Prior to installation, ensure the membrane to be protected is free from surface debris that may cause puncture.
Visqueen TreadGUARD 300 can be cut with a sharp retractable safety knife or robust scissors. | |
| Installation Apply Visqueen TreadGUARD 300 by unrolling across the laid construction membrane and overlap by a minimum 100mm.
Ensure that the protection layer is suitably weighted down during windy weather conditions.
The finishing layer e.g. backfill, concrete slab, etc should be applied within 30 days. | |
| Usable temperature range Although there are no limitations to the usable temperature range for Visqueen TreadGUARD 300, it is recommended that the Visqueen products associated with this system component should not be installed below 5°C. | |
| Additional information In the event that Visqueen TreadGUARD 300 lap joints require sealing, use Visqueen GR Lap Tape.
