Push It Real Good!
If a product can be pushed, it can be packaged using horizontal bagging.
This method is perfect for goods such as leaflets and solid food, like chocolate bars, particularly when multiple items need parceling together.
Flow Wrapping is also referred to as horizontal bagging and shares many of its characteristics with vertical bagging, which is more suitable for loose products that can be weighed and dropped.
This low cost form of packaging is created from a roll of film that is cut to size and formed into pouches with a lap seal on the back. The product is then pushed inside and the ends glued down.
Once complete, the bags have a small surface area and less weight than comparable forms of wrapping, providing additional cost savings in transit. The film that forms the pouch can be supplied plain or full colour printed and WePack is happy to accommodate runs of all sizes.
