ACTEGA North America launches next generation UV shrink ink system to ACTExact line

ACTEGA North America, a member of global specialty ink, coatings, and sealants company Altana AG, is launching a line of UV shrink inks to enhance its popular ACTExact™ system.  This system is the next generation of shrink inks that provide strong stability and wider operating windows that the newer print stations demand.

“Viscosity and stability play a critical role for today’s newly-designed print stations,” says Jim Harris, Segment Manager for ACTEGA’s Labels division. “We’ve expanded our popular line of ACTExact UV Shrink Inks to include a full color palette as well as an opaque white in response to high consumer demand for inks which provide increased press efficiencies.”

Notably, this ink system may be used for both shrink and pressure sensitive labels applications, enhancing its appeal for printers seeking operational versatility and convenience.
