Injection molding process conditions
Drying treatment: Drying treatment before processing is required. Humidity must be below 0.04%. The recommended drying conditions are: 65°C, 4h, and the drying temperature should not exceed 66°C
Melting temperature: 220~290℃
Mold temperature: 10~30℃, recommended 15℃ Injection pressure: 30~130MPa
Injection speed: Higher injection speeds can be used without causing embrittlement
Chemical and Physical Properties
PETG is a transparent non-crystalline material. The glass transition temperature is 88°C. The allowable range of injection molding process conditions of PETG is wider than that of PET, and has the comprehensive characteristics of transparency, high strength and high toughness.
