The close collaboration between Cosmogen and a San Francisco cosmetic brand has led to the recent launch of "Fine one one", a three-colour solution that makes lips sublime and cheeks radiant. Cosmogen modified the pack from a standard range, customizing it to Benefit's specifications for a stylish metallic beauty stick using five specific molds in the undertaking.
Managed by Cosmogen’s teams in the USA, in China, and in France - the first project with Benefit Cosmetics, illustrates Cosmogen's expertise in the design of custom packaging.
Cosmogen is a French company created by Gerard Gieux, its major shareholder since 1982. As a pioneer in the design and production of brushes, accessories and packaging for the cosmetics industry, Cosmogen has much expertise in developing application solutions for makeup, cosmetics powders, and fluids. The specificity of its products lies in their multiple functions: hold, apply, and care.
With integrated design offices in France and China, Cosmogen adopts an innovative approach and offers standard or customized solutions to its customers. Headed by Denis Richard-Orliange, General Manager, the company has experienced a continuing evolution of turnover since his arrival in 2007. In 2012, turnover reached approx 20 million Euros. The brand celebrated its thirtieth anniversary in 2012.
COSMOGEN has developed the contouring brush of Backstage, DIOR’s new professional brushes. It has been inspired by our Tear Drop brushes with its inherited drop shape ferrule and tuft. The brush has been customized with a matte-black-lacquered wood handle, a shiny-silver-colored ferrule, made of nickel-brass and an ivory colored synthetic tuft.
Cosmogen, a pioneer in the design of cosmetic brushes, has designed a specific brush for cleansing and purifying care whose uniqueness lies in its natural fibre that is treated with activated charcoal long known for its antibacterial properties. Its strength is the combination of antibacterial power with its power of penetration into the pores to deep clean them, even in hard to reach places.
Cosmogen has designed the Squeeze'N Big spatula especially for applying apply formula over large areas of skin. Its applicator combines width with TPE properties that are close to rubber but with more rigidity. It retains flexibility whilst offering a soft and velvety feeling. The Squeeze'N Big spatula is the perfect tool for mixing and applying thick facial and body care formulas such as masks, specific treatments, foundations or day creams.
The new patented self-heating tube from Cosmogen has been designed to enhance the efficiency and comfort of cosmetic formulas when applying. The concept is simple - a tube within a tube. The inner tube is filled with a safe sodium acetate solution and then hermetically sealed. The outer tube is filled with the formula. Just break the seal to start the warming. Cosmogen's self-heating tube is perfect for facial formulas like masks, body oil and anti-wrinkle eye treatments as it adds an extra soothing experience to formulae.
Kenzo has entrusted the development of its new roll on 'Lotus Caress' to moisturize eyes to Cosmogen. The applicator has been inspired by the mini Squeeze'n Ball. It has been specifically designed for the delicate area around the eye. The ceramic ball provides an instant cooling effect, relaxes, massages and decongests the eye contour. Like for the whole Squeeze'n range, its patented open/close rotary head prevents contamination and preserves formula.
Cosmogen has revised its Blur family, its patented set of 5 customizable brushes. The range set the trend with its iridescent ferule, in addition to offering unique technical strengths. The bevelled shape offers a large and supple tuft, which allows for a new technique of application by tapping powders and foundation.
Cosmogen accepted the challenge posed by Nocibé to create its new gamut of technical brushes: an aesthetic, up-scale, differentiating yet accessible range. Nocibé tested to see the make-up effects that could be achieved based on the high level of quality expected by the brand. The brushes feature a pink wick, an idea by Cosmogen to make the brushes distinctive and unique to Nocibé.
