Tu-Plast integrates Braille into the production process

Traditionally, any sort of special tagging with regard to accessibility for the blind had to be relegated to the labelling phase of the packaging process.  Yet labels often peel, wear out, or simply become damaged in transit.

Tu-Plast now offers packaging purchasers the option of including Braille text in the production of the tube, virtually eliminating possible damage to the message.

Also, adding a special label for the blind has been a stumbling block for many companies - because of the added cost, adding Braille is rarely considered unless there is legislation in effect that requires this sort labelling be carried out.  With very little added cost, companies can now add a Braille message into the production process, rather than have to add a label afterwards.

The benefits are clear:  no added materials for labels, no added steps during decoration, and a more permanent message directly embedded in the product to ensure it can't disappear.

Tu-Plast will be presenting this and other great ideas at easyFairs Birmingham this year, between the 16th and 17th of February, Stand E51.
