NEOPAC The Tube EcoDesign Collection

Less product waste, longer shelf life! In 2018, the European Union massively tightened the existing directive for packaging and packaging waste. By 2030, all plastic packaging should be recyclable, 55% of which should be recycled effectively. Composite materials have the advantage of offering unparalleled protection of product contents using relatively little material. They are highly developed and meet the regulatory requirements for the raw materials used. Due to their protective properties, aluminum or EVOH barriers increase the durability of expensively developed pharmaceutical and cosmetic products. Insufficiently protected pharmaceutical and cosmetic products can lead to even greater environmental pollution compared to the pollution caused by the packaging itself.

Neopac uses pure, hygienic, and food-safe materials, and the mono-material PE tubes are equipped with a high-quality PE hinge closure. Hence, these mono-tubes are ready for recycling in PE streams.

With PaperX, your brand is on the right path. It features a pleasant and smooth texture that is visually appealing during presentation. Its tactile properties offer customers a special experience in-store and at home, making it an ideal option for natural and organic products.

With our wooden tubes, we offer you a high-quality packaging solution to highlight the natural and sustainable aspects of your product. More than 95% of the materials used for PICEA™ wood tubes come from renewable resources, 10% being spruce wood and 85% being sugarcane-based.

Go green with our award-winning and patented MMB tube technology. Neopac's Polyfoil® MMB mono-material barrier tube took top honors in the ETMA Awards Prototypes category. For the novel combination of product protection with minimum HDPE-foreign materials content, user-friendliness, and appealing aesthetics, the MMB represents a marked advancement in eco-conscious materials technology.

The EVOH suits oxygen-sensitive bulk high-performance laminate, made with a first-of-its-kind adhesive laminated process compared to the existing blown film and extruded film solutions on the market. Compared to our standard range, we use up to 35% less plastic in the sleeve, which reduces the CO2 end-of-life by up to 47%.

The future is now! Up to 60% PCR material and suitable for food contact. This new mono-material tube has a better environmental impact by using recycled materials including 60% of post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials and is recyclable as well!

Another advantage of Polyfoil® EcoPro is its EU compliance. Regulation 2022/2016 mandates the use of mechanically recycled plastics for food contact, and the Polyfoil® EcoPro containing rHDPE (PCR material) conforms to Commission Regulation (EU) 2022/1616 for food contact materials.

Enhanced barrier properties: Polyfoil® EcoPro is a revolutionary new product that offers several key advantages over standard coex tubes. One of the most significant benefits of Polyfoil® EcoPro is its great barrier properties.

High-definition decoration: In addition to its outstanding barrier properties, Polyfoil®EcoPro also offers high-definition decoration. Polyfoil® EcoPro uses state-of-the-art technologies such as DigitAll360 and offset printing to deliver high-definition decoration. This allows for incredibly detailed and vivid designs to be printed directly onto the tube surface.

Recycled, recyclable, and optimized CO2 footprint: Polyfoil® EcoPro also has an optimized CO2 footprint of 40% compared to standard coex tubes. Polyfoil® EcoPro has a recyclability rating of "Grade A" from Recyclass for a barrier tube. The tubes can be easily and efficiently recycled, further reducing its environmental impact and making it an ideal choice for companies wanting to reduce their carbon footprint and promote sustainability.

Our recycled tubes are combined with recycled plastic up to a level of 70%, so they contain 64% PCR material, one of the highest PCR proportions in the tube packaging industry. The tubes can be recycled in the PE container stream due to the high proportion of HDPE. Not only do our recycled tubes save plastic, but they also contribute to the circular economy. Moreover, the material is suitable for use with cosmetic products.

The sugarcane tubes (or bioplastic tubes) are a highly environmentally friendly type of tube packaging and therefore particularly suitable for your natural and cosmetic products. The carbon footprint of a sugarcane tube is approximately 50% better than that of a conventional PE tube.
