Neopac introduces the new AirShield™ tube. AirShield™ has a new valve in the tube with two components which are closely coordinated and together result in a special protective shield function that prevents all exposure to oxygen. The valve opens when pressure is exerted on the tube and closes again when the pressure abates, preventing air from flowing back and so safeguarding the sensitive content.

AirShield™ is particularly suited to oxygen-sensitive subjects, beauty products or natural cosmetics.  The products retain their consistency, colour and resulting effect just as the manufacturer intended them for their customer - even after the packaging has been opened and is in daily use.

Neopac's AirShield™ is currently international patent pending and has been introduced officially to a large audience at the recent Luxe Pack New York event.

Companies that have a product that requires a special oxygen barrier may request a test for bulk compatibility with the 2c-valve and the Polyfoil® tube.

Hoffmann Neopac Names Two Executives to Co-Lead U.S. Facility

Hoffmann Neopac, a global provider of high-quality packaging and dosing applications for pharma, beauty, and oral care, has appointed two new Co-Directors to lead its U.S. facility in Wilson, North Carolina, which until recently focused mostly on small diameter tubes for the pharmaceutical sector. Friedrich Holz was hired as Director of Finance & Administration and will co-lead the facility alongside Jonathan Tedder, who was promoted to Director of Operations.

Neopac wins Swiss packaging award for first application of novel tube procurement service

Hoffmann Neopac has won a Swiss Packaging Award in the Marketing category for the company’s initial project involving its recently launched DigitAll360° tube procurement service. Introduced earlier this year with an online marketplace, DigitAll360° offers intuitive ordering of digitally printed tubes with high-quality variable printing, precision color matching, flexible batch sizes and expedited delivery.
