    Pelliconi & C. Spa

The Pelliconi crowns corks represent the ideal solution to close glass, plastic and aluminium bottles containing every type of beverage.

Established in Bologna in 1939, in the 60s Pelliconi moved to Ozzano where, with its 40 employees, it was one of the few companies present on Via Emilia: the rest was all countryside. The sheets were transported by hand and in one year 3 billion caps were produced with semiautomatic machines (today we make around 30 billions). The “Assorted Jobs” department produced two types of corkscrews/cap openers, trays and caps for oil and wine and the boxes for the 'Re Sole' tablets.

A global partner of reference in the sector of closures, leaders in product and process innovation, we combine the most modern digital technologies with sustainable and innovative solutions, even in the field of services connected to smart packaging, with the aim of creating value for our stakeholders.

To ensure the best products for clients and consumers, all our production plants have progressively adhered to ever-more demanding international standards in terms of quality, food safety and environment.

Pelliconi is the world's leading manufacturer of crown corks, metal and plastic caps for the bottling industry. Its global network of sales and distribution counts on four foreign subsidiaries, which have allowed the group to be recognized as the world’s largest producer and exporter of crown corks.

Thanks to a constant investment program, Pelliconi has grown steadily throughout the past ten years in a substantially static market. This has enabled the company to employ more than 1000 employees and to establish an annual production capacity of over 30 billion metal and plastic bottle caps. Pelliconi, on top of the best.

“We believe that our approach to the sustainability of our business was an important ethical choice that we took in order to become the company we are today.”
