“With the acquisition of the Orlando facility, ProAmpac is able to offer customers increased lidding offerings and capabilities which include rollstock, die-cutting and daisy chain products. This acquisition enhances our strategic position in the lidding market,” ProAmpac CEO Greg Tucker said in an announcement issued at PACK EXPO 2017.

“We’ve integrated the Orlando facility’s embossing, die-cutting, and printing capabilities with ProAmpac’s existing lidding operations,” added Bill Harris, former president of Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Orlando who now leads ProAmpac’s lidding efforts.

“For more than 20 years, ProAmpac has partnered with Clondalkin Flexible Packaging Orlando to jointly supply lidding and films to the marketplace. Now, with these operations, our customers will benefit from enhanced customer service, expanded research and development and increased manufacturing capacity,” Tucker continued.

“Becoming part of ProAmpac is especially beneficial to our coffee and yogurt packaging customers as we now are vertically integrated to meet the increasing demands for daisy chain portion-pack lidding,” Harris said.
