    ProAmpac recognized for design excellence by the Flexographic Technical Association

    ProAmpac was recognized with 10 awards during the 2019 annual Flexographic Technical Association’s Flexography awards held May 5-8 at the FORUM Conference in New Orleans, LA.

    According to the Flexographic Technical Association, “The Excellence in Flexography Awards is the premier awards program for the flexographic industry. It is the only competition flexographers from around the world trust to define who’s who in the package printing and converting industry.”

    In addition, the awards competition’s mission “is to honor outstanding companies who have made exceptional quality and precise consistency their mission in the pursuit of printing excellence” according to the FTA in announcing the awards during the May 5-8 FORUM.

    Two of ProAmpac’s graphics departments were recognized in this year’s FTA awards competition. The Wrightstown, WI graphics department was recognized with seven awards. “We won in the extremely tough categories of Coated and Film Process. It was a challenge ProAmpac was up for, and we came out as winners,” said Bob Fiala, Process Engineer for ProAmpac.

    In addition, ProAmpac’s Westfield, MA graphics team was recognized with three awards in the competition for Mid Web Uncoated Paper, Wide Web Coated Paper and Wide Web Uncoated Paper, all for the Splenda brand sugar packets.

    “ProAmpac continues to invest in our flexography capabilities. As a result, our graphics quality has consistently improved year after year to help our customers deliver the best package possible. Our teams are extremely proud of the FTA recognition which serves as confirmation of our design expertise,” said Adam Grose, Chief Commercial Officer at ProAmpac.
