For the second consecutive year, TricorBraun Design & Engineering Group's Marketing Communications Manager Charmaine Laine has won three awards from MarCom Awards. An international competition honoring creative excellence in marketing communications, MarCom Awards is one of the industry's largest competitions with more than 6,000 entries submitted.

Laine's awards include:

  • Platinum for a 16-page digital magazine, "Nutraceutical Packaging"
  • Gold for "Target Launch 4/20 Realized," a case study about working under an aggressive timeline to meet the latest cannabis regulations with a custom packaging design for premium marijuana-infused products, Dixie Elixirs
  • Honorable Mention for "For PERFORMIX and TricorBraun, It's Hip To Be Square," a case study about leading sports nutrition company Corr Jensen partnering with TricorBraun on an innovative packaging structure for a new product line.

"As an integral member of the TricorBraun team, Charmaine has worked to develop meaningful results that help our sales team drive growth and opportunities," said Becky Donner, senior vice president of design and engineering. "The quality and content of our marketing materials have been nothing short of outstanding, so it's very rewarding to see Charmaine recognized by her marketing and communications peers for her hard work."

Since joining TricorBraun in 2015, Laine has expanded the company's marketing communications program, including extensive public relations efforts, digital communication and sales enablement tools.

In 2016, Laine earned MarCom platinum and gold awards and an honorable mention.

MarCom Awards, one of the oldest, largest and most prestigious creative competitions in the world, is sponsored and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP), a 22-year-old international organization consisting of several thousand creative professionals.

As part of its mission, AMCP fosters and supports the efforts of creative professionals who contribute their unique talents to public service and community organizations.
