PCR Packaging at Lombardi: Airless PCR Bottles

  • Lombardi Design and Manufacturing

Lombardi Design and Manufacturing is producing high-quality packaging solutions and designs using various plastic blend combinations using post-consumer recycled materials. Lombardi has been able to apply these sustainable practices to its Airless Bottle Packs in a wide range of designs and sizes.

Airless packaging has become a new industry standard due to the benefits it poses for shelf-life and for the use of more active natural ingredients and what complements natural ingredients more than an eco-friendly PCR container?

First we have the sturdy and reliable PA76 30ml Airless Bottle from PCR PP plastic, fit with a curved pump head and cap ideal for high-end brands.  With its burly body and wide neck, you will find ample room for branding and labeling.

Another Airless Pack created in PCR PP is the PA95 Airless pack, available in 30ml and 50ml. These airless bottles demonstrate an entirely different design with a tiered pump design and longer elegant form. Here colored in earthy tones, this airless pack also suits brands who also wish to project a natural sustainable image and aesthetic.

Smaller-sized airless packs have also become popular in recent times as they cater to more intensive treatments. Lombardi’s PA29 Airless Bottles start as low as 10ml, perfect for testers, travel sizes and one-off treatments.

The next airless model, the PA97, is not only made using PCR content but has also been designed with a refillable feature. Having refillable airless packaging makes this an even more eco-friendly choice as by only buying replenishment packs, there is less manufacturing required, reducing the overall carbon footprint.

Ocean Bound PCR PET at Lombardi Design & Manufacturing

Lombardi developed the Ocean-Bound PCR PET cap for La Mer's Blue Heart Moisturizing Cream. These ocean-bound caps are a testament to the dedication to environmental stewardship. These parts are crafted from post-consumer recycled PET, that not only reduces plastic pollution but also upholds the principles of a circular economy. In addition to the jar cap, Lombardi produces the PCR PP spatula and disc. Here, the use of post-consumer recycled polypropylene ensures that these components are sourced responsibly, contributing to the reduction of virgin plastic consumption.
