Neopac's Polyfoil dropper tube: handy, child-proof, tamper-evident

  • NEOPAC The Tube

One of the company's key selling points, Neopac's Polyfoil® system ensures some of the best barrier protection on the market. Now the company has released it's latest implementation of the Polyfoil system in metered dropper tubes for pharmaceutical liquid applications. The new metered droppers offer customers a choice of three specific closures:

  • Dropper and Miniwing™ cap with handy reinforcements: Consumers often have difficulty gripping and opening small tubes and so Neopac has developed an ergonomic cap that in addition to fluting also has small reinforcements which makes the cap easier for consumers to grip and turn. When turning, the hand doesn't slip off. The force used is transmitted to the cap and to opening the tube.
  • Dropper and child-proof nozzle cap: The smallest certified child-proof nozzle cap in the world will soon be applied to the dropper tube. To open it, the user presses on the cap while simultaneously turning it, ensuring that children are well protected from taking the medicine themselves.
  • Dropper and nozzle cap with tamper-evidence: If a company requires the need to demonstrate that the dropper solution was not opened before its first use, Neopac recommends the nozzle cap with a pull-off ring. They have long been used with ophthalmic creams and are also ideally suited to liquid applications.

The Polyfoil® dropper tube is available for 1ml–30ml contents, in diameters of 10mm, 13.5mm, 16mm, 19mm and 25mm. Neopac offers samples with the cap of choice for first-opening tests.
