This October, Toly are collaborating with the Women for Women Foundation for their annual Toly Thinks Pink campaign, an incentive to raise awareness and collect money through their Toly blusher compacts, available in four different shades.

Toly are passionate about developing new ways to unite and inspire women to get involved, by finding new means to help #facethefight and support the vulnerable groups, who are suffering from breast cancer and are currently facing double the risks and vulnerability, amidst the coronavirus pandemic.

The Women for Women foundation is a non-profit organization on Facebook, which has over 37k diverse women empowering and supporting one another, and has recently been initiated as a foundation outside the Facebook group. Through the strong and loyal community built, Toly connected with this platform to help spread the campaign to a larger outreach and face the fight effectively as one.

During breast cancer awareness month, we commemorate the women who have lost their lives, the many who today are facing the fight, and those who have managed to overcome it and live with the scars. With COVID-19 taking the limelight, this should not prevent or delay anyone from taking care of their own health or those of others.

The ultimate purpose of our Toly Thinks Pink campaign is to make sure that every woman affected by breast cancer receives the best possible treatment, services, support, and care, and to know that they do not stand alone. Through this initiative, a generous contribution will be donated in aid of Hospice Charities and directly to the Women for Women foundation.

Women’s day, an international day in which women appreciate and celebrate all women from different countries, ethnicities, backgrounds and status. It’s a day to reflect on the strength and courage of women who fought to allow us to be where we are today. The endless opportunities we are given and the equal rights we have been handed, have all come from one woman to another that have united and come as one, a day to remind ourselves that one woman who stands up for herself is subconsciously standing up for all other women.   

As part of Toly’s #Make a positive impact campaign, a team from the marketing department went to visit the ‘Merħba Bik’ women’s shelter, an NGO  to support women and children who lived through the nightmare of any act of violence. While physical abuse is visible and recognisable, other forms of violence are more difficult to identify.  

The group went to honour the women’s strength and remind each of them about their courage and confidence by showing them that they are of importance, despite their past. The morning activities consisted of hearing their brave stories and a motivational speech was held by the CMO, Dorien Bianco, followed by an hour-long makeup tutorial from our makeup artist providing tips and techniques as to how to apply makeup and enhance the beauty of   women’s facial features. A gift bag which included a motivational message was given to each individual.

Women in general all feel more confident once adding a touch of makeup and from one woman to another, the team at Toly wanted to make sure these women felt the heart-warming glow that they felt, as they saw the reflection from their  smiling faces. It takes one person to make another person feel like a somebody, in this case it was six women from the Toly Marketing team who made a group of women feel and own their worth.

Achieving equality has resulted in a balanced life and workplace. Toly strive to be a part of this positive change and want to wish all women a happy women’s day.


Valentine’s is the day we celebrate love, a day of gratitude where we want to offer gifts to someone and bring joy in seeing a smile on that special someone’s face.

When Toly came in contact with brother Johan, a Salesian of Don Bosco and got exposed to all the wonderous things they plan on building for the Salesean kids. We knew instinctly that by helping in donating it wasn’t one smile we were reaching but the smile of many which touched Toly’s heart.

We cannot help everyone but everyone can help and this is when the Marketing team came together and created baci goodie bags that one could offer to their loved one on this special occasion.

We are pleased to announce that all of the proceeds went towards helping to embellish their properties and it’s with a filled heart we can say that giving is not just by making a donation but by making a difference which corresponds strongly with our theme for this year Makeapositiveimpact the Toly way.


For the past 12 years, Toly has been collaborating with the educational institute
MCAST Art and Design. This year, the students reading for a degree in Product
Design were given a project related to packaging product design using either
plastic or cardboard.


Students were required to research, plan and design the product in a creative
manner using programs so as to produce 3D models and prototypes.


The students were given five areas to focus on;


• Mascara Issues – problem solving smudging
• Sustainability – Eco-friendly packaging – Refillability
• Liquid Foundation – a new way of packaging liquid foundation
• New Application System for Lips
• Advent Calendars


Throughout the year students were visiting the Corporate Office to show the
Concept Design team, Innovation and Marketing on how they were getting on
with their assignment, while being provided with feedback.
Every year Toly sponsors MCAST with materials and machinery for the students
to make use of while furthering their studies. And this year Toly sponsored a 3D
printer to the school, which the students were really grateful for.
