Spectra Packaging has recently introduced a radical new twisted square pack to their extensive range of standard containers.

The new Ritorto Square boasts a unique twisted profile on two of its four faces offering a truly distinctive packaging experience.

The new design was premiered at this year’s Packaging Innovations show in Birmingham, receiving widespread interest from visitors to Spectra’s stand.

As a result the Ritorto Square has been incorporated into Spectra’s impressive range of standard bottles. The new shape, moulded in PET, will initially be available in 100ml and 200ml capacities, with the potential for further size options with customer demand.

Spectra's Managing Director, Joe Maynard commented, "The Ritorto is yet another example of ingenious creativity from our in-house design team. The new pack offers customers genuine off-the-shelf originality”.

The Ritorto Square is the latest in a line of innovative concepts prototyped, modeled and exhibited at trade shows in both the UK and Europe.

Other designs recently incorporated into Spectra’s standard ranges include the Bari, a pack that enables customers to mould their brand name into the side of the bottle, a twisted oval in the shape of the Contorto and the Savonna range of matching bottles and tottles with flared disc tops.

Joe continued, "Our extensive range of standards continues to grow at an impressive rate. The introduction of innovative styling such as the new Ritorto provides something completely different without bespoke moulding. Early indications suggest this new pack will be extremely popular with customers seeking a blend of individuality and style".

Our long-term desire has always been to reduce virgin material levels in our products, encouraging our customers to embrace Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) content. To back up this desire, we continue to put solid and robust supply chains in place to support customer demand. Since then, we have seen more and more customers appreciate the environmental benefits of recycled content in their packaging, with many taking levels beyond 10%, in many instances as high as 100%.
