Rexam supports British craft brewer Hobsons, with move to beverage cans

Rexam has partnered with British craft beer brand, Hobsons, to launch 'The Hat Collection', the brand's first ever range of canned beers. Traditionally a cask and bottled brewer, Hobsons is moving to cans. The new range, inspired by the symbolic coke hat, showcases the Hobsons logo with each beer named and designed around a different hat’s personality. Translated onto can by Rexam's experts, the bold, bright designs reflect the different flavour profiles of the beers and are finished with a matt over varnish, giving a premium look and feel.

Rexam collaborates with Hofjäger to can first beer for Chinese market

Rexam, a leading global can maker, has partnered with German beer company Denninghoffs, owner of the brand Hofjäger, to can its Schwarzbier and Weizenbier ranges. The new canned format will launch for the first time in China in May 2016 before being rolled out globally. The iconic cans use Rexam's high definition printing to bring to life an image of a traditional Bavarian hunter, set against dark and tan backgrounds to reflect the character of the beers.

Rexam gives Duudeson’s ‘gag lemonade’ stand out appeal

Rexam has worked with long term partner Laitilan Wirvoitusjuomatehdas Oy to create a new can design for their Duudesons Jekkulimonadi ‘gag lemonade’. The 33cl cans, which have an exciting and colourful design, are currently produced in Rexam’s Malmö plant in Sweden, but will shortly be transferred to Rexam’s new Finland plant which was opened in January this year.

Rexam opens first can manufacturing plant in Finland

Rexam, one of the world's leading global beverage can makers, has today opened its new can manufacturing plant in Finland. Located in Mäntsälä in southern Finland, it is Rexam’s first plant in the country and represents an investment of about £68m over three years as part of the company’s current capital investment plans.

Rexam invests further in Austrian beverage can plant
