Gerresheimer puts the spotlight on branded products

Packaging of Perfume, Cosmetics and Design - takes place in Paris on January 18 and 19. This year’s congress will be attended by 6500 market experts from 70 countries around the world and more than 420 exhibitors. One of the leading suppliers at PCD is Gerresheimer. Its product experts will be presenting exclusive glass packaging concepts for fragrances and cosmetics to the trade public and customers at Stand C32.

Gerresheimer will be presenting a selection of new packaging designs for renowned customers at PCD. The company’s plants in Momignies (Belgium) and Tettau (Germany) specialize in the production of glass packaging for cosmetics. They are equipped with modern, efficient furnaces which deliver excellent quality glass.

Both plants have various technologies at their disposal for glass decoration, coloring and finishing to refine the appearance of the bottles and jars.

The extensive product portfolio includes packaging for fragrances, deodorants, skincare products and color cosmetics, as well as special products. Gerresheimer is ranked as the world’s leading specialist in both the prestige and the masstige markets.

Gerresheimer is investing a mid-double-digit million Euro figure in the new plant in the North Macedonian capital of Skopje, an amount that is already included in the company’s medium-term investment plans. Construction is beginning in the first half of 2019, with completion scheduled for the first half of 2020. It is expected that start of production will take place in the second half of 2020.
