Johnnie Walker Black Label The Director’s Cut is a new Scotch Whisky created by Master Blender Jim Beveridge in collaboration with visionary filmmaker Denis Villeneuve. The limited edition blend is inspired by Villeneuve’s Blade Runner 2049, and is presented in a futuristic bottle.

Based on an initial design proposal by Love Design, the stunning bottle has been further developed and manufactured by Stölzle Flaconnage, the British site of Stölzle Glass Group.

Instead of using plastic accessories for the base and the shoulder, as proposed by the first design, Stölzle Flaconnage switched to manufacture the whole bottle from glass.

Made purely from flint glass the bottle demonstrates a clean, clear and unique hourglass form of packaging which is sustainable to the environment. A high-gloss black coating covers the top and base, framing the vibrant whisky colour and accentuating the sharp, straight edges of the glass. A short neck and oversized square stopper finish its unique design.

This exclusive collectible Johnnie Walker edition featuring in Blade Runner 2049 has been sold in sizes of 700ml and 750ml.
