Albéa publishes its third Sustainable Development Report

    • Albéa
    Active, Smart Packaging, Sustainable Packaging

Albéa today publishes its 3rd annual, voluntary Sustainable Development Report, providing transparent disclosure of progress, achievements and priorities in our 2020-2025 roadmap.

Albéa’s first Report (2018) was about sharing our priorities following the rollout of a materiality matrix involving employees, customers, suppliers, and partners.

Our second Report (2019) was about introducing our 2020-2025 roadmap and corresponding indicators, in line with our mission of Protecting Beauty. Our third Report (2020) is about openly sharing progress on our journey in an unprecedented year. The Report highlights collaboration, demonstrating that active, close-knit ecosystems are critical.

Gilles Swyngedauw, VP Sustainability & Innovation states:

“I am proud to say that at Albéa we make no concession when it comes to CSR. Despite the economic and sanitary crisis, we have stayed the course and even made progress on most of our roadmaps to 2025. In particular, we will play our part in addressing the major challenges of our society and market today: circularity, duty of vigilance, climate change, safety.”

François Luscan, Chairman & CEO adds:

“I often say that there can be no responsible packaging without a responsible company. This means engaging with and committing to our customers, teams and partners – supporting them, earningtheir trust, taking care of them. What we do matters to our customers because it helps them reach their own goals of responsible packaging, lower carbon footprint, business ethics and transparency in their value chain.”

That’s why we will continue to work ever more closely with all our stakeholders to protect beauty.
