The ninth edition of MakeUp in Paris is about to open! As for the previous years, the edition will take place from the 21st to the 22nd of June at the prestigious Carrousel du Louvre! What can you expect to learn and hear about at MakeUp in Paris 2018? That's the question we're answering by giving the detail of MakeUp in Paris 2018's conference program! This year, we are expecting more than 12 conferences, gathering a total number of 28 speakers all more passionate than the others! We are happy to welcome this year a unique conference about the Middle East cosmetics markets by the Chalhoub group (present in 14 countries with more than 650 points of sale) and a conference about Skin Care!

09:30 – 10:15 « COLOR WAVE by BEAUTYSTREAMS: 2019 Key Color Movement »
Creative Director Michael Nolte presents this innovative new project, a special collaboration between MakeUp In and BEAUTYSTREAMS. Cosmetics heavily rely on having the right colors at the right time. BEAUTYSTREAMS analyzes consumer, pop culture, sociological, and beauty trends to predict a main color trend for 2019. In order to give MakeUp In attendees unique access to future color movements, the COLOR WAVE project showcases the trend through a related display of exhibitor product selections.

How to responds to the customers need for personalized products and even unique products? What are the "Millenials" needs? What are the consumers habits? What is the impact on the methods of development, production and distribution? What are the potential evolutions?
Context: With industrial methods of production, luxury cosmetics brands are going further in the personalization of their offers, by allowing consumers to choose their shades, cap or by engraving a message – to create a unique object to offer or for yourself. The example of Lancôme which recently created a new bespoke foundation, "Le Teint Particulier" adapted to each individual carnation. "In stores, consumers, once their skin has been analyzed by an advisor with a skin scanner, can witness the creation of a unique formula made specifically for their carnation.

On February 7th, at the entrance of the Barker Hangar, the new venue for the upcoming MakeUp in LosAngeles exhibition, visitors and exhibitors will be surprised!
