For customers, Argonne represents shorter delivery times than ever, coupled with the continued promise of innovative Tube solutions. As a result, the Argonne facility will enable the company to maintain its leadership position in Tubes, in full compliance with new regulations.

Argonne incorporates the production of the two previous sites in the area, St. Menéhould and Vienne Le Chateau. The new 23,000 m² Argonne facility represents a cutting-edge growth platform with the technology and operational efficiencies to handle all future customer needs.

The 600-employee Argonne site is considered a French local partner and will be one of the world’s largest tube manufacturing plants. The company projects that tube and cap production will reach 1 billion each, per year.

The Argonne facility will include four primary areas of production: caps, laminate tubes, small diameter plastic tubes, and premium plastic tubes for the prestige market. An integrated Pre-Press Printing lab will allow customer input into the set-up of tube decoration and color, prior to manufacture.

The sizable investment underscores the growing investment by Albéa Tubes France in new technologies and capacities and represents the company’s preeminence in the field. The company is well positioned as a “glocal” partner that is close to customers, and that offers a full range of solutions.
