    Albéa announces the divestment of its Cotuplas subsidiary to AISA Automation Industrielle SA

    Cotuplas, a subsidiary of Albéa, a leading company within the packaging sector is merging with AISA, a leading supplier of equipment offering innovative laminate and seamless plastic tube packaging production solutions.

    The merger of the two companies will enable Cotuplas to continue its growth in a stable, supportive environment with the best possible condidions, whilst benefitting new commercial opportunities across the globe without impacting employment at Cotuplas.

    Cotuplas is an Albéa subsidiary, based in Sainte Ménehould, France and employing 30 people. It is specialized in the design and manufacturing of machinery equipment for Albéa’s  cosmetic and personal care laminate and plastic tube business.
     
    AISA Automation Industrielle SA is a the leading supplier of equipment offering innovative laminate and seamless plastic tube packaging production solutions. Based in Vouvry, Switzerland, AISA has service centers in USA, China and India.  In over 50 years since the company's creation, AISIA has produced more than 800 machines over the five continents for laminate and plastic tube packaging production and is a leader in the market.
