Givenchy has unveiled its Rouge Interdit 2017, further emphasising the couture aspect of the product by highlighting the brand's iconic ribbon against a black backdrop. This means incorporating a textile aspect into the sheath and pure black packaging. Albéa is also offering Givenchy its expertise in surface treatments and integrated decoration to produce entirely black lipstick packaging that reflects the famous brand's look and expresses Rouge Interdit's sense of daring.

Thanks to its integrated expertise, Albéa is producing the base, lid, mechanism and decoration for the lipstick:

The lipstick is composed of a black ABS base, adorned with an imitation ribbon engraving on one side and a Givenchy brand engraving on the other, overlaid with hot stamping on both sides of the lipstick. At the very edge of the base you'll see the 4G logo engraved at the bottom of the black satin ribbon. The lid is made from one single piece.

Givenchy has chosen Albéa's R2000 mechanism for its Rouge Interdit, a market leader in unguided mechanisms; here it is anodised in black.

The lipstick is made in France at Albéa's industrial plants in Plouhinec, a centre of excellence for lipstick production, and in Simandre, a centre of excellence for decoration and finishing technology.
