Making it easier for consumers to recycle a product at the end of its useful life cycle, thus enhancing circularity, WP presents its unzippable spray cap. Standing out from other removable spray caps on the market, Weener Plastics' has developed and incorporated an intuitive zipper that makes it easy to remove the aerosol spray cap for efficient recycling.

WP rethinks sustainable spray technology with its Integrated Spray Technology

Weener Plastics' patented Integrated Spray Technology is a sustainable, one-piece spray system with a high-quality spray performance. Featuring a fully-integrated insert in the housing, IST eliminates the need for an additional insert, resulting in a one-piece, mono-material, recyclable spray solution.

WP's 100% Recyclable Valve recognized for its 'flawless dispensing'

WP was the runner-up with its 100% Recyclable Valve in the category for Food Sustainability at the Dutch Packaging Awards, with the jury noting that "dispensing is flawless" that the valve is "a great example of design for recycling".

New insights from WP’s Sustainability & CSR Report 2022

Weener Plastics presents its Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility report 2022. This third edition shares up-to-date insights into our goals, ambitions, initiatives, and achievements in sustainability and CSR, providing stakeholders with a clear overview of ongoing continuous improvements.

WP India opens brand new Innnovation Center

WP India inaugurated their brand-new Innovation Center in the presence of their esteemed partners. The Innovation Center will serve as a hub for creative thinking and problem-solving, as well as a space for collaboration and experimentation.

USS and IST: New, truly sustainable aerosol spray systems from Weener Plastics

WP has developed the first ever 100% recyclable aerosol spray cap featuring an insert: the Ultimate Spray System (USS). Furthermore, the cap can be conveniently removed from the aerosol container before disposal, plus the parts can be made of PCR PP, making the USS a truly sustainable system.

WP Group accelerates to EcoVadis Gold recognition

EcoVadis has awarded Proenfar, Weener Plastics' (WP) Group member in Colombia, a Platinum rating. Weener Plastics launches sustainable PE CosmoTop tube closure

Weener Plastics (WP) is launching its brand-new range of CosmoTop tube closures, which combine convenience, high quality and sustainability, and have been specially developed for the Personal Care and Cosmetics market. The new range is made of polyethylene in order to realize a mono-material packaging solution in combination with HDPE tubes, thereby achieving 100% recyclability.

EcoVadis awards Weener Plastics silver sustainability rating

Weener Plastics (WP) has been awarded a ‘Silver’ rating by EcoVadis, leading international provider of universal sustainability ratings with a special focus on sustainable supplier management. WP improved its score on all four Environmental, Social and Governance themes once again bringing the company into the top 7% of EcoVadis-rated companies for its industry.

WP endorses the UN Global Compact

WP launches first 100% recyclable dispensing valve

Following extensive research, trials, laboratory tests, and consumer reviews, WP’s Innovation & Development team has created a 100% recyclable valve that offers fully controlled, clean dispensing. WP’s fully recyclable valve is made of a specially developed material. This enables full recycling with polyolefin waste streams – regardless of the bottle material.

New Guhl packaging helps Kao reach sustainability goals

Weener Plastics’ Eco Green Tube - Making the difference

The inventive development team at Weener Plastics (WP) in Brazil developed the Eco Green Tube, an environmentally-friendly, mono-material squeeze tube for Personal Care solutions. Sustainability was the key challenge for the development of this standard 40 mm tube, being the first real “green tube” in the market. With a production base in Brazil, the Latin-American market is targeted.
